CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE REVIEW

Council requested a feasibility study into the opening of a Customer Contact Centre in the Frenchs Forest ward. Over a three month period in early 2018 all Customer Contact Centres collected postcode data from customers conducting transactions at the Manly, Dee Why, Mona Vale and Avalon centres.

The results showed that 7.73% of transactions were conducted by customers from postcodes 2085, 2086, 2087 and 2100, that is, the postcodes that are found in the Frenchs Forest ward. Following presentation at the 26 June 2018 meeting, Council requested further investigation into creative methods of delivering a customer service presence in the Frenchs Forest ward with a longer term view to including a new Customer Contact Centre as part of the proposed town centre redevelopment adjacent to the Frenchs Forest Hospital.

Two options were shown, one at Forestville Library and the other at Glen St Library.
