You have a very capable and passionate team of Independents in Curl Curl ready to consult, innovate and create some fantastic business support, environmental protection and community spaces.

SOME OF OUR ACHIEVEMENTS:

• Expanded and revitalised Walter Gors Park in the heart of Dee Why and delivered the PCYC, providing popular community spaces for all;

• Upgraded Beacon Hill Community Hall;

• Engaged with the local youth to design and deliver the new skate park at North Curl Curl;

• Supported the Community Gardens at Curl Curl and Freshwater / Queenscliff;

• Worked with State Government on the B1 Rapid Bus Link to the city, new footpaths and improved bike paths;

• Increased services and reduced rates.

SOME OF OUR GOALS:

• Protect our precious coastline from inappropriate development and the impacts of climate change;

• Consult with local businesses and community groups to enhance the Freshwater Village, the Brookvale Precinct and the Dee Why Town Centre;

• More community events for the neighbourhoods of Narraweena and Beacon Hill, such as last year’s World Food Markets and outdoor cinema events;

• Getting on with the basics of engaging in genuine public consultation, delivering award winning community services and building and maintaining essential public facilities.

• Implement net zero emissions in Council by 2030.
