697-701 PITTWATER ROAD DEE WHY - DEDICATION OF PUBLIC AMENITIES TO COUNCIL

The public toilets on the corner of St Davids Ave and Pittwater Rd have been known to need updating for many years. The new development on the same corner will house a new public toilet and also remove the existing ones. The new toilets inside the building will remain the property of Council and maintenance will be Council's responsibility.

The approved development of 697-701 Pittwater Road, Dee Why included a provision for the developer to demolish the existing public amenities in St David Avenue Reserve and construct new public amenities in the strata building that will be accessible from the reserve.

The new public amenities will be dedicated to Council as a stratum lot on completion of the development and will not have a strata entitlement so Council will not be responsible for the payment of strata levies. Council will be responsible for cleaning and servicing these facilities in line with other public amenities within the Council area.
