THE PASADENA
Many residents are interested in the updates about The Pasadena, the following information was released by Council today.
"Council has investigated the issue of the validity of the works currently being undertaken at the Pasadena pursuant to a construction certificate obtained by the owner in late 2017. Council considers that works undertaken in accordance with the construction certificate are lawful because the original approvals for a motel, shops and restaurant granted in 1961 and 1963 are approvals which remain in force. Council also considers that the provisions of the Warringah Planning Scheme Ordinance including clauses 66 and 68 had the effect of preserving those original approvals and they were then further preserved on the coming into force of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act in 1980."
